Camden National Bank Named One of “World’s Best Banks” by Forbes for the Second Year

CAMDEN, Maine, April 21, 2022 – Camden National Bank has been named to Forbes magazine’s list of “World’s Best Banks” for the second consecutive year, ranking in the top 15 of 75 U.S. banks being recognized. As of March 2022, there were 4,839 commercial banks and savings institutions insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

The recognition results from a collaboration between Forbes and Statista to conduct a consumer survey that evaluated feedback from 45,000 banking customers across 27 countries. All brick-and-mortar-banks, along with online-only banks, offering a checking and/or savings account were considered, with questions spanning topics including trust, terms & conditions, customer services, digital services and financial advice.

“We’re passionate about listening to our customers in order to provide the guidance and stability they need, along with personalized services to make their financial lives that little bit easier” said Greg Dufour, President & CEO of Camden National Bank. “We’re grateful for this recognition from Forbes and for the confidence and trust our customers continue to place in our organization.”

The award builds on Camden National Bank’s 2021 recognition as a Customer Experience Leader in U.S. Retail Banking for the 4th year in a row, and in U.S. Commercial Small Business Banking for the 2nd year in a row by Coalition Greenwich, a division of CRISIL. Camden National Bank was also honored to be named one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in Maine.
